Dormant  vines are vines grown for a full year out in the field nursery.

They are lifted up during the winter period  and go through a rigorous grading process, the roots are trimmed to 150mm and the growing shoot is trimmed back to 3 buds.

From there they are hydrated (and can then be hot water treated upon request) and sealed in plastic before being packaged into sturdy cardboard containers. The vines presented may be immediately planted or are in a condition where they may be cool stored for several months.
