Banded Vines are grown in square biodegradable tubes or ‘bands’ & grown in our greenhouse.

This process enables a vine to be produced ready to plant in the vineyard three months after propagation. Therefore, customers can order vines and plant within 3 to 6 months from ordering.

After growing in the greenhouse for approximately three months, the growing shoots of the vines are then trimmed to around 180mm and delivered in hired plastic  bins that provide both ease of handling in the vineyard and protection to the vine in transit  and prior to planting.
